I Sapori Senza Glutine

We were recommended this restaurant by our host. Local, tasty food.

This little restaurant was another delicious dining spot in Matera. We ate on the terrace. Plenty of shade. Good choices for vegetarians. Good service and they threw in a beautiful day too!

Smoked beef carpaccio was superb, location is very convenient, easy to find, not far from city center, the waitress was very nice and sweet. Since the reservation was made with Fork, got 50% off the food cost.

Nice place spoiled by them telling us after an hour and 15 mins that our reservation for the table was finished. No time for pudding had to finish our wine quickly. I noticed that the locals weren&rsquo;t being rushed at all

This restaurant was absolutely fabulous. One of the loveliest dining experiences you could possibly have. The food is creative, artistic and tastes like heaven. Everything was incredibly fresh and of the highest quality. The owners cook and serve the food and take the time to speak to the clientele. They are wonderful people and I wish I lived much closer so that I could come back on a regular basis. Truly exceptional.

One in our party is gluten free so we choose this restaurant for our last night in Matera. The food quality was excellent and beautifully presented. From pizzas and appetizers to pasta and main courses, everything was creative and delicious. You could tell our host took pride in the food he was presenting.Service was fast, friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet and cozy.. Location is an easy walk from town center. Highly recommended!

Fabulous meal with gluten free foods that rival their &lsquo;normal&rsquo; counterparts and include local dishes. Friendly waitstaff who spoke very good English. Wide selection of gluten free beers, and breads to take away.

Loved being able to relax and enjoy a meal without worrying about being glutened. It was easy to find and the service was very good. The food was gorgeous. My only compliant was that the decor was too utilitarian and clinical, the restaurant needed a warmer ambience. However, this was a minor annoyance to an otherwise lovely find.

An absolute surprise ( positive ). If existing, gluten free choice in regular restaurant is more an afterthought of lesser quality food  than &ldquo;normal &ldquo; choices. Here so much effort, experiment and passion was given so one doesn&rsquo;t feel eating alternative versions of &ldquo;normal &ldquo; food  but genuinely good food.
